By passing the Jones Act back in 1920 the Congress promised several things to their voters.

1)Lower taxes to pay in the annum.

2)Less immigration will take place than before.

3)More aids will be given to the farmers to extend their business.


This was the gamechanger,because this were the exact promises which voter wanted to hear at that time.
