What property of sulphuric acid is shown is these reactions?


i. A reaction of conc. Sulphuric acid with the rock salt to prepare HCl.

ii. Reaction of conc. Sulphuric acid with formic acid to produce carbon

monoxide.

iii. Hydrogen sulphide passed through conc. Sulphuric acid to produce

Sulphur.

iv. Moist Sulphur dioxide is passed through conc. Sulphuric Acid.

v. Reaction of dilute Sulphuric acid with magnesium to liberate

Carbon is oxidised to carbon dioxide gas in the presence of conc. sulphuric acid therefore it shows its Strong oxidizing property.
