• When Bill and Sam devise their plot to abduct Johnny Dorset, they believe they have a sure thing. They know Ebenezer, as a loving father, will willingly pay their ransom to reclaim his son, but they had no idea that he was not an ordinary kid.
• He continues to torture them both physically and emotionally until they return to camp. He chatted nonstop for three hours, driving them mad, and even terrifying Bill by sitting on him.
• The men were franticly trying to figure out what to do with the kidnapping  they thought was simple. They were relieved when they receive Ebenezer's message and discover that he had offered to return his kid for the low price of just $250.
