Patol Babu was a perfectionist. He rehearsed speaking his one word dialogue repeatedly. He practised his dialogue with various emotions to come up with the best one. He even wanted to rehearse his small role. Then it was on his suggestion that he was given a newspaper so that the scene came off quite realistically.
