Article 368 of the Indian Constitution administers with the authorities of Parliament to execute essential amendments in the Constitution and its method. It asserts that the parliament may include modifications to the Indian Constitution when needed but without modifying the fundamental composition of the Constitution.

1. An amendment of the Constitution can be inducted only by the initiation of law for the tenacity in either House of Parliament.

2. The law must be enacted by each House by an exceptional majority.

3. Following properly enacted by both the Houses of Parliament and approved by the state governments, where required, the proposal is conferred to the President for approval.

4. Therefore, after the approval of the President, the law becomes an Act.
