The provisions that have been made in our constitution(Indian Constitution) to safeguard the rights of weaker section are the following: 

(i) 
Article 16: This provisions says that public employment is the right of all social tribes and ethnicities. It also reserves seats for weaker sections of the society. 

(ii) Article 17: This provision deals with the concept of untouchability. It makes untouchability illegal. 

(iii) 
Article 29:  This provision safeguards the rights of the minorities. It conserves their language, script and culture.

(iv) 
Article 30: This provision gives the minorities the right to establish and administer educational institutions.

(v) 
 Article 46: This provision makes the government promote and protect educational and economical interest of social castes, tribes and other weaker section.
