Mr. Bramble had many agreeable qualities. He was not only a loving and caring father, but exceptionally brilliant and capable professionally also. He was a professional and fierce boxer who had won almost all his contests in his weight category. He was so skilled that he could surprise his opponents with his clever maneuvers. He worked very hard to maintain his edge over his opponents.
However, in his personal life he was very caring, humble, polite, and soft. He had a sacrificing nature and was quite amenable to suggestions and persuasion of his family members. He was a loving father and understanding husband. His polite, yielding and submissive nature is visible from the fact that he sacrificed the name he had selected for Harold when he was born for the sake of his wife’s happiness.
