Concentration of 1 st acetic solution = 71%

Concentration of 2nd acetic solution =22%

Solution required to make = 28%

please copy the above attachment

therefore ratio = 6:43

sum of ratio terms = (6+43) = 49

content of 1st solution = 6/49 x 2866.5

= 351 m2

content of 2nd solution = 43/49 x 2866.5

=2515.5 mL

Answer:

351 ml.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let volume of 71% acetic acid be x ml then the volume of 22% = 2866.5 - x ml.

So we have the equation:

0.71x + 0.22(2866.5 - x) = 0.28* 2866.5

0.71x - 0.22x +  630.63 = 802.62

0.49x = 171.99

x = 171.99/0.49

= 351.
