What quantity of water should be taken out to concentrate of 12 litres of 30% acidic water to 40% of acidic liquid?

concentration of acid = 30 percent

→ concentration of water = 70 percent

Amount of water = 8.4 l

Again ,

new concentration of acid = 40Percent .

Thus amount of water which can be taken out = 8.4 l - 60/100×12l= 8.4l -7/2l= 1.2 l
