1) opposite sides are equal

2) sides make angle of 90° at the vertices

3) diagonals equally bisect each other and both diagonals are of same length.

area--> l X b -------( here l= length, b= breadth)

perimeter --> 2(l+b) -----( l= length, b= breadth)
