light is really a ray which travels in a same medium in a straight line
why not a particle of photons
wave was is not travelling in a straight line
there are no particle that found in it
light can be bent

It's actually a Ray which travels in the form of waves and is constituted of particles..
why not a wave
as it travels in waves
and light is a ray
light is also made of photons ,so why not particle
