1)Though the rebels were determined to bring the EAST INDIA COMPANY'S(EIC)rule in the country to and an end,they faced the question as to who would rule the land once the space of power fell vacant

2)there was a widespread impact on the people of this country and its ruling families since BSZ accepted his leadership and extended support to the rebellion.he asked all the cheifs and rulers of the country to come forward and organize a confederacy of indian states to fight the british

3)all small and big kingdoms ,kings,rajas,zamindars,chiefs and even many hindu and muslim religious leaders welcomed this and joined hands to rebel against the british .Regiment after regiment mutinied and started to join oth3er troopd s at nodal points like delhi, kanpur and lucknow
