At that time no one got confidence for being ruler but due to the mughal background Bahadur Shah Zafar got confidence

Explanation:He was the only emperor who had neutral views in relation with Religions. He respected all the religions equally, that was one of the most important factor that many indian kings and regiments accepted and declared him Emperor.
