Cruel and unjust use of power is using the power given to you to frustrate people.

For example :

A president can use his power to rob people of their wealth such as land.

In most cases people can use power to perpetuate their corrupt desires.

Under such leadership conditions, there are many unfair jailing whereby someone uses his power to have you put in jail even without having done a wrong.

It also means the freedom of speech is hindered since people are not allowed to complain of any mistreatment.

It is generally about people in authority using their position to frustrate and suppress people under them.

Answer:

Misusing the powers given to them by the people makes the politicians cruel and unjust among people.

Explanation:

Most politicians use the power given to them by the people and they are known to be cruel and unjust. Because as elected representatives of the state, he/she is responsible to work for the welfare of the people and it is they who elect these representatives. But when the representative takes bribe from the citizens of the country, then it is the misuse of the power and to gain the money he/ she can be cruel enough to destroy the lives of the people who don’t give them the bribe.
