Dalhosie was a governor general of India in 1948.
He saw most of the Indian territories where losing their kings. He broght a pocily named'Doctribe of lapse' in 1948 with cunning strategies.
According to this policy- 'If any Indian ruler dies without the natural heir, then their kingdom is annexed by British'.
This policy later become one of the major reasons for 'India first war of independence' in 1757.
He opened education institutes in Calcutta, Madra, and Bombay to facilitate English education in India.
