The Karachi session was held from March 26-31 in 1931. 

The session was presided by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

Before this session, there was anger among masses because the three great martyrs ( Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru )were hanged to death. This incident had made people come against the Congress. So, the resolution passed had the shadow of these incidents.

The Karachi Resolution was important in the sense that it contained Fundamental Rights, Economic and Social Programmes.
