Susan B. Anthony born in Adams on february 15, 1820. She was an American social reformer and women's rights activist. Her parents were Quaker Daniel Anthony and Lucy Read Anthony was enthusiastic for social reform. When she was seventeen, she got Anti-slavery petitions. In 1864 she was 26 and she became the head of the girls department in Canajoharie Academy. Susan B. Anthony fought for equal rights and opportunity for every women and former slaves. She also fought for the right of black children to attend public schools. In 1851 she met her life long friend and co-worker Elizabeth Cady Stanton and together they founded Women's Loyal National League in which got the most petition drive in United States history up to that time, nearly about 400k signatures against slavery.
