Harappa civilization is called the Indus Valley Civilization. It is the Bronze age of that time. It is one of the oldest civilization from 3300 BCE to 1300 BCE.  

When historians study the Harappan Civilization , they found many methods which were used by them for burials. Two of the major ones are either incarcerating the remains of their loved ones after death or burying them in the form of tombs.

The Harappan people used to do different ritual of burial systems like extended burials in a pit, or secondary burials, urn burials (suggesting cremation) among others. The head of the dead was normally laid towards the North and commonly used items were used as grave goods which were buried along with the dead.
