Teachers can contribute a great deal to internationall peace and cooperation. They are the sculptors of the young minds. Today's students are tomorrow's responsible citizens of a country.

  • The teacher has an importat role in framing the minds of the young, along with imparting of education.
  • Fear of God is essential to lead a personally and socially acceptable life. The class prayer, is important in this aspect.
  • Teacher has to inculcate, peace and sympathy right from the kindergarden.
  • When children fight unnecessarily, teacher has to point out, the effects of violence.
  • The teacher can be a model to the students, on avoiding discrimination based on colour, caste, creed or religion.
  • Teach the students, to care for fellow students as brothers and sisters.

Most of the conflict that disturbs the international peace and cooperation of society is believed to have stemmed from an early age because of the personal beliefs of the teacher since the children are very impressionable and can be led to believe the radical ideas that the teacher has.

To prevent this we should promote a school system that would be inclusive of all races and genders and it should be able to teach children that all people are human no matter what they think or how they look like.
