technology has played a major role in the modern world by bringing refrigerated ships.First when meat was being transported in the form of cattle by the time they reached the destination most of them died and they were not edible.As a result only the rich were able to buy it because its prices were high.After these refrigerated ships came the meat would be sliced before transporting them.So they were fresh and edible even after reaching the destination so, the prices of it went down and even the poor were able to get a varied diet.
