Explanation:

1)back in old days people don't have books to read but have 'puthi'( things written in short paper or tree branches) but it was not always available in market so students have to totally remember it or write it down, with printing books students get clear writing with more details and pictures which easy the study for students, and Study started to become famous,

2)when printing books were not there, every school have different standards in studies, some were really good some were bad, but for printing books education became same for every school

3) Puthis were actually costly many students could not afford it, this was a major problem for students, because nothing was clear for them, so printing books were easy for them to understand
