ISP stands for internet service provider which provides you the medium to connect to the internet. It identifies your IP address and when you type a URL in a browser it finds the IP address and redirects you to that site.It routes Internet traffic, resolves domain names and redirects you there, and maintains the network infrastructure and making Internet access possible. ISP examples are: vodafone, airtel, reliance jio etc.
