Constitution plays a significant role in the people's struggle for equality. It ensures freedom and fair treatment. In the eye of constitution everyone is equal. No one has precedence over another. It ensures that every person must get equal rights under the law. It makes sure that every one has access to the basic and fundamental rights.

Indian constitution provides equality to all the Indians and help people to struggle for their equality through laws and various gov. Schemes and programmes. The constitution says that every person is equal and before the laws. No one can be discriminate against on the basis of religion, culture, caste, colour, creed or gender. All the people have an equal access to public places and Untouchabletity has been declared as an offence.
