• An ideal media would report every incident of human rights violations, regardless of who would benefit from exposing the violation.    

• It should ensure the counter-checks and balances that are necessary to   promote human rights to the public.

• The media should operate free from bias and report accordingly. There should be no preference for stories on certain contexts or certain classes of people.

By reporting human rights violations, society will be able to see what will happen and will encourage necessary assemblies to fight against these abuses.
