Media may not be held directly responsible for spreading xenophobia, but it does provides various dots to connect; which lead to xenophobia.

It is the sole responsibility of media to publish content and report news that symbolises harmony and compassion in people towards each other.

More than 70% of the population of the world gets acquainted with events and stories via media and news.

With increment in literacy rate over the decades, people are able to distinguish between just and unjust.

Same is the case with media, as there are more literate people in media industry.

They must promote the blend of cultures and people from foreign land in the native country. It is their responsibility to publish stories that encourage the harmony of nations and motivate local people to learn from them, instead of showing hatred and resentment.

This contribution of media industry will help the cure the problems and adverse effects of Xenophobia in the world.

Media must always report xenophobia in a responsible manner in the sense that it must present a true picture of human rights violations in different regions and countries.

EXPLANATION:

The media must make sure that is not selective in reporting cases of xenophobia and must report these cases in an unbiased manner. The media needs to keep the interests of influential people and parties on side and think of the common people when reporting cases of xenophobia.
