2) use alternative sources of energy such as wind energy, nuclear energy, thermal energy.

3) don't waste water.

4) prevent the excessive use of groundwater.

5) use petroleum and the things obtained from it wisely.

As it is estimated that the oil resources would last for about 50 more years.
