Answer:

Armed Forces play vital role in the security sphere of the nation.

National Security is so complex that, every other fields, such as economy, diplomacy, foreign policy and affairs, everything is connected to it.

Economical security is done by Armed Forces by securing the borders, Airports, Seaports etc so that financial black currency and illegal money in the form, say gold and precious metals are not fled in the country. But still they manage to escape the hands of Forces.

A country can be classified as a powerful country by terms of military strength.

Every powerful nation is found to have a strong Army, well trained in modern warfare and highly equipped with modern artillery.

Israeli forces has high diplomatic value around 1970s when they won against the Syria, Jordan, Iraq and some eastern countries in the Arab-Israeli Wars in late 1967.

So, openly speaking, Military strength does convey the power of the nation.

Taking India as example, who has already 3 enemies, namely, Pakistan, China and Kashmiri Militants, Security Forces out there has much more larger significance to the nation.

Terrorists aim at disrupting the equilibrium of peace of the nation by constant attacks on people and national properties. And the fact to the relief is that, Security Forces were able to disassociate many of such practices either by annihilation or neutralisation of such terrorists.

Thus Security Forces play major role in preventing much loss of property and life, working at the borders, with their life at stake.
