The prime factor of human evolution is the process related to the evolutionary process that produced the emergence of anatomically modern human species.

It began with the evolutionary history of primates — in particular, genus Homo—and lending to the emergence of Homo sapiens as a unique and distinct species of the hominid family of evolution,  called the great apes.

The gradual development of traits consists of the evolution of human bipedalism as well as interbreeding with other hominins, which concluded that human evolution was not linear but a web type character.
