It means if there are , say, 6 questions then by your choice you can answer any 5 out of that 6 questions

Here is your answer...

Internal Choice mean giving sub-choices in a question. Assume the paper is divided into 5 X 20 marks each. Then the question paper may be:

(1) Compulsory = 20m

(2) Any Four out of Five - 4X5 = 20m (Internal Choice)

Then, Any three questions from (3), (4), (5) and (6) carrying 20marks each

For Example.....

(1) Answer any four of the following with reference to Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and Schedules thereto:

(a)

(b) and so..on
