What's is mean by express your views either for or against mark scored by students in the exam reflect their knowledge
Answers
For:
Marks do not entirely reflect someone's knowledge. Someone might possess a huge amount of wisdom but the teacher might decide to give them less marks. Marks do not reflect the potential someone has. Suppose you are really great at drawing, (and I'm talking Leonardo da Vinci level of great) . Marks are bound to a particular subject. They could never tell you the exact knowledge you possess in a certain field. You may even know more than what you may be studying.
Against:
Marks dictate how well you understand a particular subject. They help you to understand where you stand among your other peers. Marks provide job interviewers with how much you know, so that they could understand what the level of wise person they're dealing with is.
if you don't get good marks, chances are that you likely don't understand the concept, hence the poor grades.
