Menstruation is a process or an cycle which occurs in female beings.

In each and every month the uterus forms a thick lining so as to receive the egg or the embryo.

When no fertilisation occurs the lining thickens and finally breaks down in the form of blood,which causes bleeding in women.

It is a cycle of 28 days and strict hygienic measures must be taken to avoid any kind of infections.
