pa = xa * Pao
where p is the partial vapor pressure of A
xa is the mole fraction of A in solution
Pao is the vapour pressure
Higher the value of Pao lesser will be the value of xa. i.e mole fraction of A in solution will be less. If mole fraction of A in solution is less it means more amount of A is vaporised which will lead to increase in the mole fraction in vapour phase.
Thus, option C looks appropriate.
