Organic chemistry requires you to understand the concepts unlike inorganic chemistry which is more of mugging up and physical where you need to get your hands on formulas so it becomes very important to know the concepts because in exam one particular question might demand application of multiple concepts and the best way to handle such diverse aspect of chemistry is to get your hands on right resources.

So in my opinion

NCERT - you need to be through with each line of each page of each chapter . solve the questions given in the book religiously .As cliche as it may sound it is your bible book

M.S CHAUHAN - if you are aiming for higher ranks there is no better alternative than this one . Though the book requires quite a lot brainstorming but its equally fun if you get the concepts .

For starters other books such as pradeep and himanshu pandey also work well

Refer previous years papers to grasp concepts in a better way

Refer to good quality content as is available on unacdemy , khan’s academy and many you tube video.

I know it is difficult to get your hands on these books in times of pandemic but i know this website called sastabooks they have all the books available and i myself have ordered a bunch of them at a lower price plus cherry on top i went through their guidelines they do follow strict sanity check , and the guidelines issued by govt and assure 24/7 online support.
