We all have opinions and when we meet someone or live with a sibling or parent, who has different views to our own we can quarrel but it’s how far we take that conflict, which is the most important thing. We should remember that inside all these arguments is that paradox of human nature: we change our opinions as time goes by. So is it worth causing problems with others when arguments and opinions change in the course of the passing years? The brother in this poem realises that his sister is more important to him than anything else, even something that he truly believes in. So the brother is right in saying he’s wrong. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were more people in the world like him?

'I was in the wrong.

So he was in the right.'
