Answer:
What exactly is magic? How do you define or view magic? From my perspective, Science is the only thing closest to magic.
Let me explain:
If you think of Flying as a magic, think of aeroplanes, jets and rockets.
If you think of Lifting a heavy object as a magic, think of cranes, trucks and literally anything used to carry heavy objects.
If you think of Moving fast as a magic, think of cars, rockets, bikes and vehicles.
If you think of Fighting of evil as magic, then think of medicines which fight against germs or bacterias to keep you alive.
If you think of Making Loud Noises as magic, think of loudspeakers.
If you think of Monsters as magic, think of huge Bulldozers which can destroy things in a fraction of time.
If you think of Having a great knowledge in small mind as magic, think of Robots and computers that know everything we know of.
If you think of Making things disappear or appear out of Nowhere, think of several chemical experiments that you have done or seen. You might have seen the change in colours, states or big piles of lump coming out from the beakers.
If you think of Throwing out the fire as magic, think of flamethrowers you might have seen. On the contrary, if you think Making the fire disappear as magic, think of extinguishers.
These are all possible due to science. If it is not closest to magic, then what is?
However, If you think of Time-Travel, people disappearing, Teleporting and things like these as magic, then I don’t have any explanation. Perhaps they could be made possible by science one day, or not.
Perhaps!
P.S: Time Travel is possible and we are doing it right now, but only from present to future.
I hope it helps...
