Length ( l ) = 500 m

Breadth ( b ) = 200 m

Area of the plot ( A ) = lb

A = 500 × 200

A = 100000 sq m

Cost of tiling 100 sq m = Rs 8
Let Cost of tiling 100000 sq m = Rs x

x = ( 100000 × 8 ) / 100

x = Rs 8000

Length = 500 m

Width = 200 m

Area = Length × Width

Area = 500 × 200

Area = 1,00,000 m^2

Cost of tiling = Area × Cost/m
Cost per 100 m^2 = ₹ 8
Cost per 1 m^2 = ₹ (8/100)


=> Cost of tiling 100000 m^2 = ₹ 8/100 × 100000
= 8 × 1000
= ₹ 8000
