holla dued , your answer is below :

____________________________________________

Electromagnet :: it is a electrically induced magnet , it is a core of magnetic material { such as iron}

surrounded by a coil of wire through which an electric current is passed .

it is stronger than a solenoid . also the poles can even be reversed , by reversing the flow of current. basically electromagnet is current flowing in a solenoid .

__________________________________________

Solenoid :: it is a cylindrical coil of wire acting as a magnet when carrying an electric current . it is a soft iron core . diameter is small as compared to length . when an electric current flows through a solenoid it generates magnetic field similar to that of Bar magnet. it is basically a single wire wrapped to a coil.

Hope it helps you

Explanation:

Hlw Mate....

  • An electromagnet is an electrically induced magnet. As the name implies, it is a core of magnetic material (such as iron) surrounded by a coil of wire through which an electric current is passed to magnetise the core. A solenoid is a cylindrical coil of wire acting as a magnet when carrying an electric current...
