actually they are not much different from each other.
Ova lies in Ovaries.
Ovaries function is to release the egg(ova).
while Ova's function is to let the sperm enter it.

Ova produced in ovary and lies within it whereas ovary is a female reproductive organ which produces ova it is situated in the lateral wall of uterus.
