Thermos flask and vacuum flask are same. Thermos flask is also known as vacuum flask.
A thermal flask consists of two insulated layers (inner and outer) and trapped between them is a layer of air or simply vacuum in some cases. The main reason behind the construction of a typical flask is to allow minimum heat to escape from the inside to outside and this is done by reducing the heat transfer rates by making the separation between inside and outside to be well insulated.

Hope this information will clear your doubts about the thermos flask.

"Thermos flask and vacuum flask are basically the same. We can say that thermos flasks are types of vacuum flask.

Thermos flask has two insulated inner and outer layers which contains an air layer between them or simply a layer of vacuum.

The inner part of bottle is always coated with silver coating. The silver coating prevents the heat transfer by radiation. In vacuum flask, the vacuum between double walls restricts movement of heat by convection."
