what's the different between sunflower and paddy?

Sunflower


1. It is a dicot. If a sunflower seed is cut lengthwise two embryonic leaves or cotyledons can be seen.


2. It has a long tap root which grows 1 to 3 feet deep. It needs a well-dug, loose and well-draining soil.


3. The average height of a sunflower plant is 9 to 12 feet.




Paddy


1. It is a monocot. It is grown as an annual plant. It can survive as a perennial in tropical areas.


2. It has a fibrous root system which consists of seminal,nodal and lateral roots.


3. It can grow to a height of 3.3 to 5.9 feet. It has long,slender leaves which are 20 to 39 inches long and 0.79 to 0.98 inches broad.
