what's the reason behind it that any object which is falling from height doesn't fall horizontally but little bit vertically.

because gravitation makes them to fall vertically

it depends upon the shape to the object, if the object is sharp towards the tip it is unlikely to bend. But if it's a irregular object it will experience more drag due to air and therefore bend more.
