NASA and other space agencies across the globe keenly observe such objects :)! They are called NEO(Near earth object, once they come too close to earth)
They have already figured out some major procedures to avoid collision of such potentially dangerous objects ;)
They will preferably try to change the path of such objects by launching specially designed missiles on them so that they eventually leave the orbit of the earth but if in case that doesn’t happen then they may detonate nuclear bombs on it so that the asteroid breaks down into pieces and easily vaporizes in earth’s atmosphere.
