Very high melting point

Very low vapor pressure at high temperatures so it doesn't blacken the inside of the bulb

Maintains good strength at high temperatures; much stronger than carbon

Has enough resistivity as fine wire to heat up to incandescent temperatures with reasonable currents and voltages.

Relatively affordable; at least by 1906

Relatively easy to draw into fine wire; at least by 1860

It is said that Edison knew tungsten would make a good filament but before 1906 it was too difficult to make fine tungsten wire.

all the others don't have properties which the tungsten have so it is kept in bulb

Explanation:

Tungsten is used for making filament of an electric bulb due to the following reasons: Being an alloy it has a very high melting point. It has very high resistivity so it does not burn easily at room temperature. The lamp glows at high temperatures.
