Exterior angle = Sum of opposite two interior angles.

So, we have to first find the other angle before starting the answer. Let the angle with no value in the triangle be x. So,

40 + 35 + x = 180

-> 75 + x = 180

-> x = 180 - 75

-> x = 105

Now lets start the answer.

(i) Angle p = Sum of opposite two interior angles

-> Angle p = 40 + 105

-> Angle p = 145

(ii) Angle z = Sum of opposite two interior angles

-> Angle z = 105 + 35

-> Angle z = 140
