Pottermore sorted me into Gryffindor, so I suppose I'm a Gryffindor, though I would've preferred Hufflepuff.
My favourite character is Sirius Black. The thing that I love the most about him is that he isn't perfect and he doesn't claim to be. He's been through a lot. He was unfairly sentenced to Azkaban the same day his best friend was murdered. He was the only one who knew of Pettigrew’s betrayal. And somewhere, the guilt must've been gnawing him, because after all, he was the one who suggested that James and Lily switch the Secret-Keeper to Pettigrew. He was brave, intelligent, but he tended to be reckless. He was his own personal with a strong sense of morality, which can be evidenced from the fact that he wasn't sold to his family's Pureblood mania. He was a real person, in the sense, that he got selfish and wanted Harry to stay with him during his fifth year. But what makes him admirable is the fact that he tried to hide it. He treated Harry as an equal, accepting that Harry had as much right to be in the Order as any other member, because Harry had already faced more than most of them, and really knew what was at stake. He was a brilliant godfather who supported and understood Harry. He was a brilliant prankster who loved to have fun.
So, yeah, these are a few reasons why I like him.
