Maria Sharapova sacrificed her two years living without her mom just so she could go to Florida in the United States and train for tennis. He mom could not go with her due to visa restrictions. She hated it a lot. She also didn't bear to see her dad working hard to earn money for her training. She was never depressed of the fact that her seniors used to wake her up in the middle of the night and make her clean the room. Overall, she knew that the sacrifices were worth her achievements.

Her fellow roommates would bully her. Through all this her mental toughness, determination and will was increased.
