The narrator saw that the two brothers were seated on a hospital bed, with a girl of about 20 years. She appeared to be their sister. There was so much love and affection visible and the scene looked like a happy family reunion.

When the narrator looked through the glass partition, he saw the boys in conversation with a girl. Her striking resemblance at once made the narrator realise that they were siblings. She was wearing a very pretty lace jacket and was listening to what her brothers had to say.
