what should be added to 1/2 to get (9/10+13/20)
please help me because I don't know how to do this because I am in 5 class​

9/10 + 13/20

= LCM of 10 & 20 = 2

= (9/10 × 2/2) + 13/20

= 18/20 + 13/20

= 31/20 = 1 11/20

let the no. be x

x + 1/2 = 1 11/20

=> x = 1 11/20 - 1/2

=> x = 31/20 - 1/2

=> x = 31/20 - ( 1/2 × 10 )

=> x = 31/20 - 10/20

=> x = 21/20 = 1 1/20
