The number to which the fractions should be added to get 3

Solution:-

Let the number to be added be =x

=>1/3+1/3+1/5+x=3

=>2/3+1/5+x=3

=>LCM is 15

=> 2×5+1×3/15=3

=>10+3/15+x=3

=>13/15+x=3

=>x=3-13/15

=>x=45-13/15

=>x=32/15

Conclusion:-

The number to added to 1/3+1/3+1/5 to get 3 is 32/15

Let the required no.be X

1/3+1/3+1/5+X=3

2/3+1/5+X=3

BY TAKING LCM=15

we have

10+3/15+X=3

13/15+X=3

X=3-13/15

NOW AGAIN BY TAKING LCM=45

WE have

X=45-13/15

X=32/15

OR

X=2 2/15
