What should be added to 1247 get 6540.

HELLO THERE!!!!
To know that what should be added to 6540 to get 1247..
You should subtract the first one from the latter ....

*Normally ~

6540 - 1247
=5293

*By using an equation ~

let the number that should be added to 1247 to get 6540 be X

So, 1247 + X = 6540

(taking X to the other side)

~X = 6540 - 1247

~ X = 5293

You get the same answer by both

x= 6540 - 1247
x = 5293
5293 should be added to 1247 get 6540
